Shoot with More Comfort,
Accuracy and Endurance
Most shooters struggle with the punishing effects of recoil, so we’ve created a hydraulic recoil pad that utilizes dampening technology borrowed from the aerospace industry that dramatically reduces recoil: 80% Less Recoil Energy, 35% Less Muzzle Lift, 25% Less Peak Force, 35% Less Rock Back to give shooters greater accuracy, less flinching and more time shooting. No grinding necessary!

5 out of 5 GUNSMITH, TIKKA T-3 CHAMBERED IN 30-06

I went out into the mountains and got 21 coyotes in one afternoon in a T-shirt with my 30-06. The next day, I told my wife Wow! Look at this! I don’t have a bruise or ANY PAIN!

5 out of 5 GREAT PRODUCT!
Paul (verified owner) –
This recoil pad does everything advertised and then some. I regularly shoot trap in a league and practice. I shoot at least 100 12gauge rounds per week. Flinching creeps in to everyone that shoots a lot. This recoil pad made a huge difference.I Easily mounted the proper fitting falcon strike recoil pad on my Kolar TS. I did not have to alter my stock in anyway. Hats off to falcon strike!

This product works as described. My lightweight mountain edition 300wsm is now a joy to shoot! I also had the opertunity to meet with the owner of the company who personally installed the recoil pad! I will be putting one on my slug gun for deer season. Great product!

Bruce Overbury –
I can’t believe how much the FalconStrike tames this rifle. When I got it, I was only able to shoot maybe 5-6 shots before I had to quit. I put the FalconStrike on, and went out behind my shed. Before I knew, I had run 35 shots. Amazing!

5 out of 5 COMPETITION LONG RANGE SHOOTER, SAVAGE 110BA CHAMBERED IN .338 LAPUA
Roger Brunell –
I just love my FalconStrike. I went from a .43 to a .27 MOA in just 5 shots! First shot, I realized it didn’t hurt. 2nd shot, I realized I had always pulled up and to the right. The next 3 shots touch each other on the bull’s eye. Amazing! Thank you FalconStrike!

Hi Jim, The pad and plate stand 1-1/4 thick and when held with a comfortable hold behaves like 1-3/16″. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Will this work for .300 AAC Blackout or .450 Bushmaster
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
falconstrike (verified owner) –
Hi Cason, We designed the FalconStrike for 4250 foot-pounds muzzle energy, regardless of the gun or action. (375 H&H, 300 WM, etc.) The 450 bushmaster tops out at 3800 ft-lbs. – you should get a significant reduction in recoil energy and felt recoil with our hydraulic pad.

Does as advertised, made a day of trap shooting much more tolerable. It will add length, if you plan on mounting to an adjustable butt plate you will have to cut your stock down a tad more than a standard pad. I had no problems mounting to the adjustable buttplate, but I did have to cut down the screws that fasten the falcon strike plate to the adjustable plate (most hardware that come with them are longer than needed for attaching through- the-pad screws). No modification to the falconstrike was needed. I had one clamp that is considerably harder to lock down than the other, although seems secure, I am a tad worried the locking system can loosen if taken on and off several times, I noticed a decent amount of wear just from taking on and off to fit to the adjustable buttplate on the locking tabs. I am a high volume trap shooter, once I get everything adjusted to where I need it I wont have to take it off anymore. A hunter or a casual target shooter shouldn’t have to worry…set it and forget it.

5 out of 5 Good Fit, Expected Less Recoil
Don (verified owner) –
I installed this recoil reducer on my Remington 1100 for the purpose of significantly reducing the felt recoil during trap shooting. Martin was awesome in helping me find the correct size to fit my gun. It’s a very slight bit off, but hardly noticeable, and definitely functional. My first impression was that the recoil was not significantly reduced on low base trap loads, but I was surprised to find out that the recoil was the same for high base duck loads. As a veteran, they gave me a heck of a deal on the price. Looking forward to shooting more rounds of clays.

5 out of 5 Interarms Whitworth 375 H&H Magnum
John Weeks (verified owner) –
First let me say I am 70 years old and don’t handle recoil as well as I used to. I’ve recently retired and am able to take advantage of things I’ve only dreamed of including an upcoming moose and an African hunt. I purchased an Interarms Whitworth chambered in 375 H&H magnum and have been shooting the Nosler Trophy Grade 300gr Partition bullet with 4330 ft-lb of energy. Prior to installing the Falcon Strike recoil pad I could only handle 3-4 shots before being bruised so badly I would take a minimum of two weeks to heal before being able to shoot any rifle again. Seriously, you can’t believe how bad the bruising was. With the Falcon Strike recoil pad I can easily handle 15 shots with no bruising and be ready to go again the following day. Even my wife shoots this gun now with no bruising. Not often have I run across any product that lives up to its hype as well as the Falcon Strike. I’ve since ordered a second one for my 270 and will report on it once I’ve had a chance to shoot it a few times.

4 out of 5 Ruger M77 African model 375 H&H
GENE CALEB GREINER (verified owner) –
Not another recoil pad . original design that merits a good review . Installation is straight forward , I did go on line to find instructions that were more to my liking . I deducted a point because the base plate and pad were about 1/4 ” to long . I was careful to order as per the part number for my rifle however I suspect that this rifle has a slight variant than a standard M77 . This rifle was manufactured the late 1980’s and has very nice euorpean walnut and hand cut checkering . I was able to hide the over size by the use of a aftermarket check riser . Over all I am pleased . the next step will be to see how the recoil is mitigated.

4 out of 5 Reduction in push back and muzzle lift

Here is a picture of your recoil pad on my Savage slug gun. Looks good I think. I shot the gun this morning and I can tell a reduction in push back and muzzle lift especially. Thanks for an innovative product. I may need another one in the future.

Question
s. salmon –
I live, work and hunt in Arizona. Crazy swings in ambient temperatures between summers down in the desert and winters up in the mountains. I am concerned about the affect of ambient temperatures on the effectiveness and longevity of this device. It will have to live on a rifle stock in 120 degree Farenheit temps in the summer at 1000′ above sea level and also in -10 degree Farenheit temps at 8000′ above sea level. If any of that will be beyond its design parameters it may not be the right product for me. The rifle is a heavy recoiling gun capable of taking large, dangerous game. Thanks for taking the time to answer this. Steve

Hi Steve, thanks for your question. The ambient temperature rating is -30 to 140F. Altitude is no concern so you should be good to go.

Put it on my Winchester Model 21 Trap. 12 gage. 1&1/8 oz. 1250 fps. Very soft recoil.
Best part is the way it nestled into my shoulder pocket an stayed there.

3 out of 5 Slightly better than a slip on pad?
Fred Mason (verified owner) –
80% Less Recoil Energy, 35% Less Muzzle Lift, 25% Less Peak Force, 35% Less Rock Back was not found on my 416 Rigby The Rock Back is the same as with the slip on pad I had before. 25% Less Peak Force is perhaps been achieved? Muzzle Lift is the same as before. Maybe 50% Less Recoil Energy but 80% should make it all but disappear? It looks a lot better than than the old slip on pad. However at least with my 416 Rigby the results in felt recoil are far below your stated numbers.

I’ve been shooting shotgun sports ,trap ,skeet and sporting clays over 25 years. In the last 3-4 years I’ve developed a flinch. I reduced the shot charge from 1 1/8 oz. to 1 oz. and 7/8 oz. This last Saturday I shot my highest score ever at sporting clays,95.I thought about quitting because of my shooting had declined but since I installed your pad I believe my shooting will continue to improve. Thank You.

5 out of 5 Product and Service Excellence
Walt West (verified owner) –
I’ve used a Falcon Strike recoil system on my Krieghoff K-80 Trap Special for almost a year. I’ve also added a Falcon Strike to my Remington 700 in 30-06. Falcon Strike is the real deal! And, four of my buddies started using Falcon Strike shortly after they tried mine.
In the process of determining the best fit for my K-80, Martin Gaudet offered advice and insight through email as well as phone calls.
Even if you think that you’re not “recoil sensitive” the Falcon Strike system is a distinct advantage. Reducing recoil over a day of shooting 300-400 targets gives any shooter an advantage by reducing recoil induced fatigue.
